Next I fell in love with Ungaro silk satin again from
Tessuti and I made up this
McCalls pattern M5516. Probably a bit ambitous for so early in my sewing career because it is very slippery fabric. I still love the fabric and colours so wear it anyway!
The pattern looks so unpromising - you'd hardly think it was the basis of such a beautiful dress. Tessutis do have a fabulous range of silks.
